Hello, let me introduce my name. I’m Jeanifer Tandean (@duckkweky), the owner of @Magic_Wizhes; proudly to say I’m one of the student in Ciputra University, Surabaya. This is a project from my university!

How long has the company been running?

I think it’s not a “company” yet; it’s more like my own business. I start it this year at 7 April 2021 for launching my first collection name “Magic Wishes” and soon launching my next collection name “Chrysaora Pacific”

Where did the idea come from?

The newest collection name is “Chrysaora Pacific”. The idea comes from one type of jellyfish, and that jellyfish’s name is The Pacific Sea Nettle, as you can see the detailing of this clothes are similar to this jellyfish’s arms and tentacle. For the color of the clothes, which is blue colors, it is inspired by the color of the ocean where the sea creature lives. The “Chrysaora” name is inspired by The Pacific Sea Nettle’s scientific name “Chrysaora Fuscescens”, and the “Pacific” name is inspired by where this jellyfish can be found that is the Pacific Ocean.

What are your company values?

In my opinion, my business values are to have a unique design and have different interests to make my business different from the other businesses.

Currently, how many people work for the business?

Actually I don’t have a worker, which mean I work by myself at this moment. But, I hope my business can grow up so I can use a worker to help my projects.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start a business?

-Do your best and let God do the rest!

-Don’t let negative thoughts haunt you.

-Do everything in a good mood; then, the results will also be good.

-Don’t force yourself. If you’re tired, get enough rest.

-Find supportive friends so you can support each other and remind each other.

Where do you hope the company will be in 5 years time? 

I really hope my company can be famous, go international, can bring my design to a fashion show, or I hope my design can be used by artists or famous people.
