Yesterday SKIMS launched their first ever joint campaign featuring supermodels Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel.
Wearing the SKIMS signature Fits Everybody collection, the supermodels posed together and separately, with SKIMS CEO Kim Kardashian even jumping in a few shots. The Fits Everybody collection features a range of underwear made to “mold to the body” and stretch to twice it’s size.
In a post on Instagram, Tyra Banks shared that when Kim Kardashian called her with the idea for this campaign she was “intrigued” and despite the fact that she hadn’t modelled lingerie and undergarments since she retired from the runway, she found that her poses came back “even fiercer than before”.
Heidi Klum also took to Instagram sharing her experience on the shoot, saying that it had been a while since all the models had been together and that it was so special to be reunited.
This isn’t however the first notable campaign from SKIMs, who famously collaborated with Team USA for a collection of women’s athleisure for the Tokyo 2022 Olympics. They also partnered with fashion house Fendi in November 2021, with Kim Kardashian and Kim Jones co-designing the collection titled FENDI X SKIMS. The collection featured SKIMS classic shapewear design in a mix of bright purple and orange shades with a new FENDI X SKIMS monogram.
SKIMS, the popular shapewear, underwear and loungewear brand co-founded by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede, was launched in September 2019 and has been valued at over $3.2 billion as of January 2022.
With garments in shades to accommodate all skin tones and sizing ranging from XXS to XXXXXL, the products range from underwear sets, bodysuits, dresses, shorts and lounge sets.
In the UK, SKIMS is available on the SKIMS website, Selfridges and Harrods (both instore and online).
