GRAMMYS FASHION RECAP

Last night the biggest names in music took to the red carpet for the 64th Grammy Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Here are some of the best looks from the night:

Olivia Rodrigo

In Olivia Rodrigo’s first appearance at the awards, she took home awards for best new artist, best pop solo performance and best pop album. Dressed in a floor-length black Vivienne Westwood gown with matching black opera gloves, the 19-year-old also performed her song ‘Drivers License’ at the awards.

Doja Cat

Never one to shy away from bold fashion choices, Doja Cat, who took home the award for Pop Duo/Group Performance for song ‘Kiss Me More’ with SZA, stunned in custom Versace. Her embellished baby blue gown, which featured a sheer bottom and corset-style bodice was paired with Samer Halimeh diamonds.

Lil Nas X

Despite not going home with any awards, Lil Nas X did not disappoint on the fashion front. Wearing a white beaded Balmain suit with butterfly detailing, he also wore matching beaded platforms.

SZA

Taking home the award for Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘Kiss me More’ with Doja Cat, SZA stunned in a sheer fishtail Jean Paul Gaultier gown with floral detailing.

Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Thee Stallion turned heads in bold animal print custom Roberto Cavalli gown. The one shoulder dress with thigh-high slit was styled with chunky gold bangles and earrings.

Dua Lipa

Debuting a new blonde hair transformation, Dua Lipa rocked the red carpet in a black Versace gown with gold detailing and neckpiece.

Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion

We couldn’t not mention that fashion moment when Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion recreated Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston’s iconic pop culture moment. The staged wardrobe mishap saw the singers both arrive to present the award for Best New Artist in the same black Versace wrap dress, only to have Donatella Versace herself appear on stage moments later removing the detachable skirt from both dresses.

Billie Eilish

In true Billie Eilish style, the singer wore an oversized Rick Owens look paired with black boots and sunglasses .Despite not taking home any awards, Eilish paid tribute to the late Taylor Hawkins in her performance of ‘Happier Than Ever’ wearing a shirt with his face on it.
