Fashion Platform Lyst Reveals the Most Popular Brands and Products for Autumn 2021

Ruth Croft explores the hottest fashion trends, as unveiled by the popular shopping site Lyst.

To become one of the most popular fashion brands in the world is something that every single platform in the industry seeks. It is an incredible achievement, an award that promises to win them global success and respect amongst the fashion community. It is something that every designer, creator, and trendsetter desires. However, only a few can reach such illustriousness every year. But never fear, because the fashion platform Lyst has recently announced the most popular brands and products for autumn 2021, and some of them may surprise you.

Lyst is a platform that was founded in 2010, which allows people to access the world’s most stylish brands from their digital media. The app is reportedly used by over 150 million people, with 17,000 designers and brands available to shop. It has the ability to define an individual’s specific fashion desires, and curate options for them based on their style.

This autumn, Balenciaga has been awarded the most popular brand by Lyst, no doubt due to their heightened success over the past twelve months. Balenciaga is believed to be one of the biggest companies to have reintroduced haute couture, but in addition they were the main event at this year’s Met Gala, with both Rhianna and Kim Kardashian wearing their designs. Kardashian’s masked look was so influential and curious that it went viral across social media, and Balenciaga’s digital footprint received a massive influx in searches.

Other prominent brands that were named by Lyst include Gucci, Prada, Dior, Bottega Veneta, and Simone Rocha. But Nike also rose to success, after professional tennis player Emma Raducanu broke records by winning the Grand Slam singles title in September. The search for the Nike tennis sneakers she wore went up by 86% in the weeks after her triumphant win.

As for the most popular product, Prada took the crown with their raffia tote bag, despite the competition of Roxanne Assoulin’s beaded jewellery.

To find your ultimate style, you can explore the fashion world of Lyst at their website or on the app store.
