Many brands are now proposing colourful, bold and patterned face coverings to cheer up their customers’ outfit keeping them safe yet stylish.
The lips’ expressiveness is now often hidden behind the mask, but for all those who want to make this device more cheerful, there are many opportunities. Walking around the city is possible to spot people wearing very special masks and even combined with the outfit. There are plenty of ways to stay safe and cool at the same time. The polling company YouGov discovered this week that only 36% of Brits are regularly wearing masks – compared to above 80% in China, Italy, and Spain – so these offerings might convince you to start covering your face now that you can do it in style!

Fashion lovers can wear masks matching their outfits, as many online e-commerce and brands are selling a huge variety of masks. These new accessories are found in different fabrics from simple cotton to the finest linen silk to pure silk, as well as more elaborate concoctions like those by Sophie Cochevelou. Although these have higher prices, there are good reasons to indulge in a highly fashionable mask. Many brands donate a percentage of the cost of each mask to a charity engaged in humanitarian aid in this unprecedented moment in history.

Liberty London instead offers all kinds of prints, especially floral ones, in line with the floral trend for summer 2020 prints. Gap offers cotton face coverings with a fresh and maritime blue and white striped pattern. Don’t miss the non-surgical masks promoted by the British Fashion Council, and available on its website, made by well-known British designers. The proceeds from these face coverings go to NHS Charities Together Covid-19 Appeal, the BFC Foundation Fashion Fund, and Wings Of Hope Children ‘s Charity.
Although wearing a mask can be annoying, especially in summer, the proposed variety is irresistible. Wearing a super trendy mask, the proceeds of which go to charity, then becomes commendable and fashionable – a must for summer 2020.
