WEB EXCLUSIVE: Interview with BUNT Creative Director and Photographer Amelie Trimpl

Name of company: BUNT
Type of business: Creative Agency

Location: New York, New York
How long has the company been running? We officially launched on April 10th of 2025

Where did the idea come from?
BUNT was born from a desire to merge fashion, art, and activism, creating a creative collective that doesn’t just produce aesthetically striking work but also fosters social impact. Our launch event, featuring the performance by Maia del Estal where models wore painted canvases, highlighted this intersection perfectly. That evening, guests experienced fashion as performance, activism as visual storytelling, and conceptual art as invitation to feel and reflect.

What are your company values?
At BUNT, we center our work around inclusivity, intentionality, and emotional authenticity. We believe fashion is inherently political, art is rooted in intention, and storytelling has the power to evoke feeling and provoke thought. Our mission reflects a minimalistic and elegant approach to vibrant ideas, creating work that feels both visually refined and vibrantly meaningful. We also strive to make our agency a safe and creative space where art is made with love and with community in mind.

Currently, how many people work for the business?
Our team operates as a lean and agile collective, anchored by myself as Creative Director and Photographer and supported by producers, visual creators, stylists, designers, and collaborators who are brought in project by project. This flexible structure allows us to remain nimble, focused, and intentional in everything we develop.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start a business?
Start with strong values and a clear sense of purpose. Let your mission guide your creative decisions, and stay committed to emotional authenticity, especially in a field often driven by aesthetics. Build a flexible structure that enables collaboration, and never compromise the story or feeling you hope your work evokes in others.

Where do you hope the company will be in 5 years’ time?
Looking ahead, I envision BUNT evolving as a recognized platform that continues to push the boundaries of creative disciplines, blending fashion, performance, and visual storytelling in ways that feel revolutionary yet grounded in intention. We aim to build meaningful, brand-aligned campaigns and experiences that are both emotionally resonant and socially impactful, and to remain a safe, inclusive space for the artists and communities we work with.
