OBÌRIN SS26: Dressing the Many Lives of a Woman

Obìrin is a celebration of womanhood in all its forms. The title comes from the Yoruba word for woman and reflects the belief that a woman cannot be reduced to a single identity.

Designer Amenawon Monica Okoh introduces the collection under her label Mhenase Touch, honouring her heritage through the use of Aso Oke textile while remaining open to women everywhere, regardless of her background.

The collection represents strength, visibility and freedom of expression. Through bold colour and confident silhouettes, Obìrin imagines a woman who moves through the world without shrinking herself.

She is adaptable, evolving and fully present. It is a tribute to the complexity of women and the space they create for themselves wherever they go.
